Recap: Fashion King Episode 3
Set in the world of fashion, Fashion King attempts to capture what it would be like to play in this worldwide game. I've written my first thoughts on this drama on a first take. This time around, I won't just be first-taking but also recapping. Wish me luck.

First Take: Triple Shot of Big Bang
One of Korea's biggest boyband of the new century, Big Bang, just came out with a mini album, Alive. Okay, so it's been out for a while. And along with that album came out not one, not two, but three really interesting music videos. I will try my best to review all three. Considering that, please be patient with the length of this post. I'll try to keep it quick and painless.

Fashion King Hotness on April's Esquire
I think I have to give thanks to Esquire magazine. For their April issue, they brought not only one, but two hot stars of Fashion King. Even though the drama isn't my cup of tea as of the first two episodes, these two men are probably my main reason of treading through the ugly. But hey, if being on a fashion drama is going to get these boys more spreads, then bring it on.

First Take: Fashion King
Finally the first episode of the long awaited Fashion King is out! This is Yoo Ah-in's first drama in two years, since the successful (and crack-tastic) fusion sageuk Sungkyunkwan Scandal. The first episode reeled in a good 10%, while the second slipped to an 8,2% in ratings. A drama filled with fashion and youthful glory, how did this drama fare on its first episode?

Impressionable and Recommendable Korean Movies
We have finally come to the end of the blogathon week. Wow, what a week indeed. I did miss out on one day but I made two posts the next day, so don't kill me. So if anyone is counting, I've done 6 reviews in one week. That's probably the most reviews, or posts, I've ever done ever. I may need to give myself a pat in the back. So today, instead of writing a review, I'm going to write about my top Korean movies.

Movie Review: Cyrano Agency (2010)
Continuing in my crazy two-review night, I will continue with the romantic comedy, Cyrano Agency. If there was an agency like this in my town, life would've been a lot easier. Or would it?
Movie Review: Christmas in August (1998)
Ah, forgive me for not writing yesterday. But to compensate, I will write two today. Hopefully I can pull through. Anyways, for this post I'm going to review one of Korea's beloved films, Christmas in August which was released back in 1998 and directed by Hur Jin-ho. A quiet, slice of life movie that gives a punch, this is such a lovely movie that any Korean movie lover should get a chance to watch.

Movie Review: Antique (2008)
For the past three days, I've been reviewing movies I've watched recently and that were released in the past few years. By the past few years I mean in the new decade. Today, I'm going to talk about one of my favorite movies, Antique. This movie was released back in 2008 and has been one of my all-time favorites. The following piece is something that I wrote three years ago for a journal assignment from school. I think the overall writing is okay and still reflects my feelings towards this movie. I can't believe I sent this in to my professors, though. As you can tell it's only a blog-worthy article. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

Movie Review: Eighteen (2010)
Adolescence is a time when life feels like a rocking horse. So many things in and around you seem to change. Your body and your hormones start doing weird things to your head. The people around you expects more from you now that you're more than just a child. More than that, there seems to be a new feeling that starts to form during this time of life. Love. That feeling you get when you can't help but be attracted to the opposite sex, the people you thought were your enemies. Suddenly they become interesting, they seem beautiful in your eyes, you just want to be with them. But true to many things, this feeling of love isn't completely yours. The parents that might not agree with all this, the friends that don't even help. This helpless feelings of love and life in adolescence is discussed in Eighteen.

Movie Review: Sunny (2011)
If Bleak Night talks mostly about the turbulence of friendship, then Sunny touches on the joys of it. Sunny, the group of seven unlikely, but perfectly matched group of girls come together and shows us the real meaning of friendship.

Movie Review: Bleak Night (2011)
Finding yourself is one of the biggest things you’ll have to face during adolescence. What you’ll do as an adult. Who you’ll point to as your friends. Simple questions, yet difficult to answer. Bleak Night (파수꾼) tries to answer those questions, with a realistic point of view from the adolescents themselves.
