My Most Played K-pop Songs

I've been wanting to write something on the blog for a while but don't really know what. I've actually been working on something (hint: 51st Baeksang Awards) but I want to be as thorough as I can, at least in the film category. So in the mean time, I thought I can talk about a topic I used to talk about a lot in this blog which is K-pop. I actually used to write more about K-pop than K-dramas but I haven't listened to much music in general these days. So I thought it'll be interesting to write about my most played K-pop songs just for the fun of it. Also, the songs featured here may not be my current favorites, mostly because I listened to them a lot at the time while I haven't listened to the newer ones as much.

First Take: Discovery of Love

Just when you think I'm talking way too much about romcoms, well, think again. Here's another one to shove into your lovely faces: KBS's Discovery of Love. 2014 is the year of love (and scandals) so why not bring in a new one?

tvN Leaps into the New Year

It's been 2014 for a week now. How have your resolutions been? Okay, I hope? Yours truly have been neck deep in school work so I don't really want to think about anything else. Actually, I'm supposed to not think about anything else but, you know. Anyways, a new year comes new dramas of course. And with tvN leaving a weird aftertaste because of a certain nostalgia-themed drama, I'm ready for a new start. Thankfully, it seems like tvN has a couple of fun dramas that's get you through the new year. With that in mind, here's tvN's new year, new shows campaign.

Sung Joon, the Busiest of Bees

If you've been reading my blog a while, then you know I tend to talk about the same actors again and again. And Sung Joon is definitely an actor I've talked at least a few times before. He had a pretty awesome year last year. He was two leading drama roles, a leading single-episode drama role, a supporting and leading role in two movies, and even won an award for his stint in said single-episode drama role. Considering his first stint on Korean TV was a bit part in Personal Preference back in 2010, his career trajectory is pretty darn good.

Weird title? Probably. But it sums up the whole photo shoot well. Model-turned-actors Sung Joon and Kim Young-kwang strut their stuff on their new spread for Ceci Magazine. Oh also, did you know that they're both in the upcoming drama Can We Get Married?

YouTube Things For 'Can We Get Married?' and 'Peach Tree'

No, this post won't be overridden by cats, although they can be hilariously cute. This will be the post where I will be sharing some stuff from YouTube that I'd like to share but won't make into a full post. Because one, it will take to long to make a dedicated post. Two, it will save your eyes from reading my crazy rants. So off we go!

Casting News for Cable Drama 'Can We Get Married?'

What is up with me and casting news lately? By all means am I no more enthusiastic at drama castings as some of you. Actually, maybe some of you care about it more than me. But considering this particular casting news is a standout I guess for me, then we shall proceed. And if you're wondering, it's the casting for cable drama Can We Get Married?

Drama Review: White Christmas (2011)

Are monsters born or are they made? This is the main question in the mystery drama White Christmas. The drama isn't a regular drama per se, as it is only 8 episodes long (whereas a regular mini series is at least 16 episodes). If you like mystery type genres filled with psychological twists and turns, this drama is for you.
